Monthly update
over 3 years ago – Tue, Sep 01, 2020 at 12:37:50 AM

Hi guys,

Unfortunately, we are still not up to our normal level of production in the workshop, but there are signs of it getting better over the next month or two. Hopefully then we have a steady income again and we can get a start on the final production for Black Hallows. We are still filling our time producing medical visors for the NHS, but this has very little profit, so just covers our overheads.

I'm sorry there's no movement with the project, but please bare with us and stay positive, it is just going to take time. Obviously the current situation we are having is affecting us all in a big way, but surely things will start to improve soon.

Production update
almost 4 years ago – Mon, Apr 27, 2020 at 07:29:41 PM

First of all, can I apologise for the lack of updates, we had delayed this one while we have been waiting to hear exactly where we stand with our current workflow.

Our normal contracts have been put on hold, but we have just heard yesterday that we can start manufacture again in approx. 3 weeks (material stock has now arrived for this). Before the Covid-19 outbreak, we were getting back on track and not far off starting production again of the remaining Black Hallows items, so we would imagine that this will now be delayed for around six weeks while we catch up.

In the mean time we have been working all hours, 7 days a week, producing medical visors for the NHS, Ambulance services and Care homes. This is being done at non-profit, but at least we are helping the staff in front line positions. We have so far sent out over 5,000 visors and are looking at approx. another 10,000 plus in the next few weeks. Our design has been approved by the NHS and because it is re-useable, they are replacing the disposable versions they are currently using.

So please guys, don't give up on us, we are doing our best to get your pledges out to you as soon as we can. We will update you again when we get back to normal production.

Many thanks,

Jon.

Thank you for your patience, we appreciate it so much.

We are definitely moving forward, maybe not as fast as I would have liked, but we are getting there. As we said in the last update, we are raising funds through our old business. We have one main permanent contract in place and are pushing for more at the minute. There is a possible contract in the pipeline, which if we get, we are definitely back on track and will start producing the final pieces ready to ship. We are putting all of our effort into this at the moment because with these contracts in place, it will mean we can manufacture and start delivering the Kickstarter much quicker.

So, many thanks again and we hope that by the next update, we are very close to shipping.

Progress Update
over 4 years ago – Sat, Dec 07, 2019 at 01:38:13 AM

Hi guys,

First of all I would really like to thank you for all of the supportive comments and messages, this is much appreciated.

We discussed in the last update about returning to our previous industry to raise funds to finish and deliver your pledges. We own two large cnc machines and a laser cutter that we plan to run. This type of work is perfect because the machines do most of the work with very little labour so our man power can be concentrated on finishing the models. This has started off really well with a large contract for one of the cnc machines machining motorsport parts and we are currently marketing for work for the other.

We are also producing other products for gaming which we will sell through our online store, ebay & etsy, which include dice boxes similar to our Dragon Realms Kickstarter boxes. Again, the machines do most of the work with little labour.

We have been messaged by many of you requesting to pay for shipping a second time. We really appreciate this gesture, but would rather fulfill the pledges as promised and pay the shipping ourselves. Once we complete the manufacture we will revisit this and it could be an option.

So the main thing now is to push to raise the funds we require and we will get back to manufacture as soon as possible. We will keep you updated with our progress on a regular basis.

Thank you for your patience,

Jon.
