Production Update

Thank you for your patience guys.

We are still progressing with the resin casting, about 75% through casting the gallows (which has been the main issue)

The plastic bases are due to arrive with us early next week, so we will proceed with packing.

Don't worry if you have a last minute change of address, it's not final until we enter it into the courier's system and we'll send you a notification before this is done.

Again, thank you for your patience, we are not far away now.

Production and Shipping Update
about 1 month ago – Fri, Jun 07, 2019 at 02:04:46 AM

Hello,

We know that you are all eagerly awaiting the miniatures and we're all hands to the deck on trying to get everything finished and on their way.

We've now switched to casting the remaining smaller items which frees up the pressure cast systems for the larger items.

We would like to apologise to you all because we can't give you an exact date yet, but we are now estimating 4 weeks for shipping.

We realise that some people are disappointed that we've gone past the estimated delivery date, but in the end, it was an estimate and it's not always that simple to get it exact. The majority of Kickstarters I've backed personally, have been a lot later than this. But saying that, we are doing our best to get it out to you as soon as possible. We have learnt from this process and have allowed extra time for Townsfolk II, which is due to ship on time.

We can't thank you enough for your patience.

Monday Motivation

Hello all,

We thought we'd give you a quick update on what's going on at Z1 Design.

In the workshop, we have pulled all the guys onto the resin casting to try and speed this up as much as we can, as even with the extra machine it's still a slow process. There have been a few folk asking why we can't send out pledges that don't include resin products, but all main pledges include free resin items, so this isn't possible.

In the office, the masters are being printed for Townsfolk II and we have accounted for the delay in Townsfolk, so should be on time with Townsfolk II.

So, that's what 20,000+ minis and bases look like?

End Of April Update - The Pressure is on!
3 months ago – Wed, May 01, 2019 at 03:03:29 AM

While the resin casting continues, Ashley is finishing off the last of the metal add-ons. These include some of the "bits & bobs" like the books, chests, and coins, as well as the Woodsman who was a stretch goal.

We've adjusted the size of the coins, so that they do fit inside the treasure chests.

We've also had a flurry of address changes in the last few days. The surveys are locked down, so if you go in yourself and try and make changes, you won't be able to, but get in touch with us and we'll sort it for you.

Production Update
3 months ago – Tue, Apr 16, 2019 at 02:53:21 AM

We have been quiet on the production update, mainly because we have been working on production.

It's just taking more time for the resin casting. At the minute we're on with production of the Gallows, and as we've got 1200 to make it's taking more time than we'd estimated.

I hope you understand that this is Kickstarter and we are in the process of building a new business, so are still in the process of streamlining the production process (which is the purpose of Kickstarter).

Most of the Kickstarter projects I've backed, even from massive companies, are into months late. We are still only a matter of weeks late and have tried to keep you all informed all the way through this. We hold our hands up and admit that we have underestimated the time it takes to produce the resin casts.

So all we can say now, is that we are definitely going to run into next month with manufacture, but we'll keep you updated as we move on.
