Update
almost 3 years ago – Thu, May 27, 2021 at 05:09:16 AM

Unfortunately, we are still not up to speed with our normal work so there has not been any movement on the Townsfolk projects. We are working all hours with lower paid work to keep the business running and there are signs of normal orders starting to come in.

I realise you are frustrated with the lack of progress, but we have not given up and we still intend to fulfill, we just need more time.

We are getting a few backers either giving negative reviews on our other company Jon Stynes Design or leaving negative comments on our social media. This will not help us get our work back to normal and could only delay the project more.

So, all I can ask, is be patient and we will sort this out ASAP.

We've had a lot of people requesting the digital files, so until we can get the physical items sorted, we will make a start on sorting the digital files to send out. This will take a little time, as they are currently set up for the casting process ( i.e. in lots of individual bits!).

Thank you to all the backers who have sent us messages of support, it really has meant a lot.

Update

Guys,

I'll try to be positive with this update, but no doubt will take the usual flack from the usual backers.

At the moment, as I've explained before, we're trying to generate funds so we can produce the final items and get them shipped. This has been tough due to the lack of our normal motorsport work. Our area has now gone into tier 4, like many other parts of the country, which will not help at all. With the work we do have, we are only managing to cover our normal overheads, rent, bills etc.

All I can say is once our work does get back to some sort of normality, we would need approx. 6 weeks of manufacture (along side our normal work) and then we plan to ship gradually, as we raise funds for this.

I know this is not what you want to hear, but it is the best we can do.

For those that think we have give up and are not going to deliver, we certainly have not. If I'd ever planned to do this, I would have liquidated the company and walked away a long time ago. So please bear with us and we'll get this project fulfilled as soon as possible.

Jon.
